Product Designer
The role
We are looking for a mid-level Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire design lifecycle—from initial user research and strategy to final UI/UX execution. You will work within agile frameworks to translate complex product goals into seamless, intuitive, and visually compelling digital experiences. This role requires a balance of creative innovation, user empathy, and practical cross-functional collaboration to ensure our products both meet user needs and align with business objectives.
Core Responsibilities
User Research and Strategy
- Conduct user research to gather insights into user behaviors and attitudes.
- Develop user personas and journey maps to better understand customer needs and pain points.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform and validate design decisions and strategies.
Design Execution and Innovation
- Design and iterate on UI/UX elements, including wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Ensure final products are visually appealing, highly functional, and aligned with brand standards.
- Continuously explore and implement new design practices and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends.
Usability Testing and Feedback Integration
- Plan and conduct usability tests to validate designs and improve user satisfaction.
- Analyze test data to identify areas for improvement.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders to enhance functionality and overall user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate product goals into seamless design solutions.
- Participate in agile teams and collaborate directly with developers during implementation to ensure designs are accurately translated into functioning user interfaces.
- Address design-related issues that arise during development promptly and effectively.
- Present design concepts and deliverables to stakeholders, clearly communicating design vision and rationale.
Project Management
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from concept through completion.
- Develop timelines and work schedules to meet project deadlines and constraints.
- Monitor and report on the status of design projects to stakeholders.
